Our meat

I'm Darragh O'Shea 8th generation butcher and along with my wife, Fiona, and our four children, Alfie, Findlay, Erin and Lottie, we proudly run our mixed farm, known as West Mains Farm, Tullibardine in Perthshire, Scotland.

West Mains has been in Fiona’s family for over 100 years and we are currently the 3rd generation to farm here.

We focus on native beef breeds such as Angus, Shorthorn and Hereford, rare breed pork Tamworth’s and Large Blacks and hardy sheep breeds such as Cheviots. We have a passion for meat, pure and simple! A passion inherited from my late father Dermot O’Shea. We supply only the finest quality meats, ethically sourced from our family farm in Perthshire Scotland and trusted, like minded suppliers from all over the UK and Ireland. Our lineage in butchery goes back generations, our craftsmanship and pedigree is second to none, a tradition we are keen to share.
