The O’Shea family established the first Butchers in Tipperary in 1790. Eight generations of O’Shea’s have gone on to build on the tradition not only in Ireland but also the UK and continental Europe.

Darragh O’Shea the 8th generation of Butchers runs O’Shea’s in London welcoming retail and catering customers and works closely with a number of top Chefs and Restaurateurs to ensure their establishments simply have the best meat available.

Our farm and meat sourcing

O’Shea’s Butchers source from their own farm in Perthshire and carefully selected farmers and suppliers in in Scotland, SW Ireland, Yorkshire, The West Country, Suffolk and Norfolk as well as continental Europe to ensure we provide our customers with simply the best premium Beef, Veal, Lamb, Pork, Poultry and Game.

Not only do we source then select the very best in class meat, but we then age, butcher and prepare the specific cuts to the specification of each customer. Our approach is to provide a more personal service, whilst recognising the fact that quantities of world class meat from the UK and Ireland that meet our very strict selection criteria are scarce.
